What we do
- A "Skip to content" link appears on first keyboard focus on every page.
- Every menu, dropdown, tab set and form works by keyboard: arrow keys, Home and End on tab controls, Escape to close menus, and focus returned to where it started.
- The mobile menu traps focus while open and restores it on close.
- Charts drawn on canvas have a data table alternative and a text summary beneath them; current values, sources and timestamps are always in text.
- Motion respects your system's reduced-motion setting: the intro, smooth scrolling and scroll effects are turned off, and content is shown immediately.
- Color contrast meets AA in both dark and light modes, and a light mode is available from the footer.
- Images carry descriptive alternative text, or are marked decorative when they add nothing.
- Spanish content is marked with the correct language attribute so screen readers pronounce it properly.
Known limitations
The homepage uses WebGL for a decorative background; it is skipped by assistive technology and the page works without it. Third-party pages we link to (the application portal, scheduling, review sites) are governed by their own accessibility practices.
